Staff presented a contract request with Athena Engineering to develop conceptual designs and cost estimates for the Evanstown Center intersection upgrades (Evanstown Center Boulevard, Evan Slocks Road and North Bel Air Road) as the first phase of the SPLOST 2328-funded project. Athena was one of several interviewed firms and provided concepts staff found favorable; the $20,000 phase will support project scoping, SPLOST budgeting and the move into detailed design.
