Mayor’s Advisory Board recommends Richard Heitz for O’Hare Airport Commission
After an interview in which he emphasized data-driven approaches to noise monitoring, the Mayor’s Advisory Board moved to recommend Richard Heitz to the O’Hare Airport Commission; Chair Moran’s motion carried by voice vote.

Richard Heitz, a Park Ridge resident who has worked at Abbott Laboratories for about 10 years and previously taught neuroscience at Vanderbilt, told the Mayor’s Advisory Board he wants to apply data and analysis to the O’Hare noise issue. "He has always wanted to get involved in public service, and feels he can positively contribute to the ongoing noise issues associated with O’Hare, using his background in data and analysis," he said.
