Public Works explains limits of responsibility after resident reports water service problem

Public Works Director Arthur Simmons told the Green Level council the department is responsible for water mains to the meter but not private service lines; he offered to provide Lumos' customer service information for a resident who said fiber-optic contractors damaged his service and whose plumber advised he not use the water.
