Council denies request for construction moratorium exception
After public comment and a closed session, the Green Level Town Council denied resident Rick Murray's request for an exception to the town's construction moratorium by a 5-0 vote. A resident had asked the council to grant the exception because Murray reportedly had property under contract.

The Green Level Town Council voted unanimously after closed session on Sept. 14 to deny a request from resident Rick Murray for an exception to the town's construction moratorium. Mayor Pro-Tem Remonia Enoch made the motion to deny the exception; Councilmember Patricia Jones seconded and the vote was 5-0.
