The committee recommended Cameron Rudd, a Tennessee Tech alumnus and Herman North America COO, for reappointment to the Tennessee Technological University board after he summarized his experience; vote was 9-0.

Cameron Rudd introduced himself as a 2005 Tennessee Tech graduate and current chief operating officer for Herman North America, describing campus investments including a new engineering building and the launch of a nuclear engineering program. "If I am confirmed today, then I look forward to spending the next 6 years on the board," Rudd said.
