Councilmembers reviewed renewal rates for BCBS employee health and dental insurance during the May 5 meeting. The minutes state that renewal rates "will decrease by 10.14% at the beginning of the plan year, which is August 1st." The council discussed reviewing other options over the next year and then approved renewing the BCBS plan for the plan year beginning August 1, 2021.
