Shellsburg council approves Shellsburg Quick Stop cigarette permit in 4-1 vote
At its Aug. 20 meeting the Shellsburg City Council approved a cigarette permit for Shellsburg Quick Stop by a 4-1 vote; Councilor Reeves voted no. The permit was approved amid a consent and council-forum agenda that also covered nuisance complaints and event fund accounting.

The Shellsburg City Council approved a cigarette permit for Shellsburg Quick Stop on Aug. 20, 2024, with a 4-1 vote. Councilor Hepker moved to approve the permit and Councilor Travis seconded; Hepker, Travis, Vogt and Harvey voted aye and Councilor Reeves voted nay.
