District reviews multiple PSBA policy updates tied to school code changes
Administrators reviewed draft updates to several PSBA policies (academic standards, wellness including social media literacy, virtual attendance and wellness checks, health screenings, school security training and AED policy); drafts are available on the shared Google Drive for board review.

David provided an overview of draft policy updates developed from PSBA recommendations and staff review. He said Policy 102 (academic standards) was updated to reflect new Chapter 4 personal finance requirements, Policy 246 (school wellness) was updated to add social media literacy and related curriculum changes, and Policy 204.1 was updated to address virtual attendance and mandated wellness checks under school code.
