Genealogists offer mapping database; commission to develop process for accepting outside records
Volunteers and genealogy groups described extensive mapping and record-recovery work for Alhambra Cemetery and offered to deliver a compiled database; the commission agreed to create a process for receiving, vetting and integrating external records with city maps and trust documentation.

Judy Palmer, co-founder of the Martinez Cemetery Preservation Alliance and a member of the Contra Costa County Genealogy Society, described years of volunteer research to update cemetery records and offered to provide the commission a compiled list and supporting sources. "I have like 2 83 pages of that list now, and I would be glad to help," she said, offering the data to staff for incorporation into city records.
