Council hears Echo Ridge, Shadow Ridge drainage updates; Buc-ee's start date pushed
Mayor Oliver relayed Director Ahart’s updates that Echo Ridge stormwater plans for the first phase have been approved and monitoring is ongoing, that the city engineer will recommend injection-well and drainage options for Shadow Ridge, and that Buc-ee’s start date is postponed to late this year or early next year.

During legislative body comments, Mayor Jacqueline Oliver relayed development updates from Director Ahart. She said, "The stormwater plans for the first phase have been reviewed and approved by the city engineer. Monitoring for stormwater, utilities, and paving is ongoing." The update also noted the city engineer will provide recommendations on an injection well and drainage for Shadow Ridge and that cleanup on Man O War is awaiting FEMA guidance.
