Board approves FY27 appropriations, activity budgets and year-end fund transfers
Trustees adopted temporary appropriations for FY2027, approved multiple activity fund budgets for 2026-27, and authorized year-end transfers to zero Athletic and Food Service fund balances (athletics received $15,564.25; food service $63,088.21). Other routine finance items, change funds and insurance renewals were also approved.

At its June 16 meeting, the Lucas Local Board of Education approved core fiscal items for the coming year, including temporary appropriations for FY2027 and a slate of Activity Fund budgets covering band, athletics and other student activities.
