At the Nov. 11 meeting the board first voted to take Board Policy 114 (Anti‑Hate Speech) from the table, then voted to send the policy back to the Policy Committee for further consideration. The minutes record: "Motion by Kalish, second by Bonanno, to pick up from the table Board Policy 114 Anti‑Hate Speech. Carried unanimously." Immediately after, "Motion by Rivas, second by Peterson, to send Board Policy 114 Anti‑Hate Speech back to the Policy Committee for further consideration. Carried unanimously."
