The Galax City School Board voted unanimously on Sept. 8 to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for architectural and engineering services to support multiple capital projects across Galax City Public Schools. Superintendent Susan Tilley described the RFP as useful for determining how a potential 1% tax could be allocated toward projects.
