Shannon Noel, a City of Kittitas resident and new member of the Friends of the Kittitas Library, told the board about a Washington State Department of Commerce facilities grant open to public libraries. She said the grant targets acquisition, construction or rehabilitation projects, is highly competitive, requires a 50% match and must be submitted by April 15, 2026.
