Caltrans outlines multiple Inyo County highway projects; proposes modular roundabout at Y Road and U.S. 6
Caltrans District 9 presented plans for a modular Vortex roundabout at Y Road and U.S. 6 in Bishop, bike lanes on U.S. 6, and several pavement, ADA and expressway projects across Inyo County. The pilot roundabout, funded by a Highway Maintenance Safety Pilot Program grant, is scheduled for summer construction with an estimated cost of $1,250,000.
