Commerce City staff and their transportation consultant on Oct. 8 presented a draft Transportation Master Plan that updates the city's 2010 plan and sets a 25‑year vision for roadway, transit, bicycle, pedestrian and safety investments. Staff said public comment remains open through Oct. 17 and the plan is scheduled for City Council adoption on Dec. 1.
Jenna Hahn, director of public works, said the city began the plan in early 2024 and is in the fourth and final phase of public engagement. Hahn said the project will return to the Planning Commission for a formal recommendation before going to council and that the project team is accepting online comments through Oct. 17.
