The Kosciusko County Drainage Board discussed a request from Hoosier Landfill to abandon a portion of Long Creek that flows through the landfill site and allows the landfill to expand. The county surveyor told the board he met with the solid waste district and county legal counsel and asked the board to table the matter for one month to finalize information and coordinate on adjacent contract negotiations.
