Board approves pilot homeless outreach and services program for Lemon Grove
The board approved a county-run pilot to provide outreach, housing navigation and mobile services in Lemon Grove using existing staff and resources; staff said the pilot would not add to the county budget and could be expanded if effective.

The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a pilot homeless outreach and service program for the City of Lemon Grove. Supervisor Monica Montgomery Stepp introduced the item, saying the pilot would deploy Homeless Solutions and Equitable Communities Department staff in partnership with Lemon Grove city staff and community organizations to provide street outreach, case management, housing navigation, mobile Live Well on Wheels services and a mobile homeless court.
