Milwaukee Common Council adopts multiple committee reports; approves TID amendment

The Milwaukee Common Council on Oct. 14 adopted recommendations from several standing committees and approved an immediate-adoption resolution amending the project plan and boundary for Tax Incremental District (TID) No. 84.

The council voted to adopt committee reports from the License Committee (file 250939), the Public Works Committee (multiple items including ordinances, resolutions and project agreements), the Finance and Personnel Committee (including file 250955 and related substitute ordinance matters), the Judiciary and Legislation Committee, the Public Safety and Health Committee, the Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee, and the Community and Economic Development Committee. Each committee report was adopted by roll call vote, with the clerk announcing 15 ayes for the committee-adoption votes recorded in the meeting.

Item 75 (file 251039), described on the floor as a resolution approving amendment number 2 to the project plan and boundary for Tax Incremental District Number 84 and authorizing additional expenditures and an amendment to the development agreement in the Fourth Aldermanic District, was taken up as a matter for immediate adoption.
