County counsel said the county issued a request for proposals for forensic accounting to investigate an embezzlement at the county library, with proposals due Oct. 31 and a preferred responder expected to be recommended Nov. 18; the final audit is targeted for submission by February and presentation to the board on March 10, 2026.
