Henry County commissioners on Sept. 24 approved a resolution advancing a plan amendment process to create a new tax-increment financing (TIF) allocation area and expand allowable uses in a district near Hayes Way and Brooks Drive. The vote clears a county planning step so the redevelopment commission can hold a public hearing and consider offering financial assistance to a private company building in the industrial park.
