The board convened an executive session to discuss personnel and litigation matters and returned to open session with no action taken, according to the chairman.

On Sept. 23 the Decatur County Board of Commissioners voted to enter executive session to discuss personnel and litigation. Commissioner Jan Godwin moved to go into executive session; Vice Chairman Dennis Brinson seconded and the vote was unanimous. After the closed session the commissioners returned to the board room and voted to resume the public meeting.
