County staff told the board that a forklift (priced at $3,000 in staff notes) and metal racking ($500) remain at a recently acquired warehouse and recommended the county buy them for use in county operations. Staff said the sheriff had initially been offered the items but that the sheriff had not taken them and that the purchases would benefit county departments that will occupy the facility.
