Planning manager Jenny Axmaker told the Larimer County Planning Commission on Sept. 17 that staff will update the commission’s bylaws and that the commission will hold an October work session to discuss potential code updates.
Axmaker said she has not yet completed the bylaws update and apologized for the delay. She said the October work session will include discussion of potential code amendments that many of which will be intended to bring county code into compliance with state regulations.
No formal motion, direction to staff, or vote on bylaws or code changes was recorded at the meeting. Axmaker’s comments were given as a staff report; commissioners did not direct a formal course of action on the record during the Sept. 17 session.
Axmaker also reminded attendees of meeting procedures for public comment and hybrid-participation instructions; staff present at the dais included County Attorney’s Office representative Christine Lukasen, Senior Planner Michael Whitley, planning administrative staff Christina Scrutchens, SIPR Director Leslie Ellis, and engineering representative Eric Tracy with a consultant from FHU.
