The Killeen City Council approved three related land-use measures during the Sept. 16 meeting: a rezoning request (Z2526) to change about 1.26 acres from R-1 single-family to B-5 business district, an amendment to the city thoroughfare plan to alter an East–West collector alignment and classification, and a new site development permit process in the zoning code to formalize commercial site-plan review and fees.
