Commission approves two massage‑operator licenses for local therapy businesses

The Columbia County Planning Commission on Sept. 18 approved two massage‑operator licenses for practitioners with on‑premise operations in Columbia Road commercial suites. Planning staff told the commission both applicants met the licensing requirements and recommended approval; commissioners approved both licenses by voice vote. Will (planning staff) presented the two applications and said they meet all requirements and can be taken together; the chair then called for motions. A commissioner moved to approve a license for Nicole Coffey, doing business as Recovery Massage Therapy at 4210 Columbia Road, Suite 15C; the motion passed. A second motion approved the license for Britney Pachea, doing business as Mermazing Therapies LLC at 4434 Columbia Road, Suite 103; that motion also passed. The approvals were recorded as recommendations; any licensing files will be completed by county staff according to standard administrative procedures.
