Library reports strong summer-reading turnout, thousands attended programs

The summer program used a game-board theme, creating a fictional city called Sim Staton to organize reading activities and prizes.
Councilors praised the library staff. Councilor O'Rourke and others voiced appreciation for the program and the social-media feedback the library received. No formal council action was taken on the item; it was an informational recap and the library offered to answer additional questions.
