Staff reported that the Quarry Landings application removed short‑term lodging units and reduced total units from 243 to 133; as a mostly residential project it will proceed to the City Commission for a two‑meeting decision next month rather than to the Planning Board.

When the Planning Board asked for an update on Quarry Landings, Brandon, planning staff, said the applicant removed two temporary lodging units and reverted the project to a residential configuration that will not require Planning Board recommendation. Staff said the project had been previously approved in 2022 for 243 units; the current proposal is for 133 units.
