ISD 191 committee accepts MSBA update on mandated‑reporting policy referencing state statute

At the Sept. 16 ISD 191 School Board Policy Review Committee meeting, Stacy, a district staff presenter, reviewed changes to Policy 414, mandated reporting of child neglect or physical or sexual abuse. Stacy said the primary edit is an updated reference to state statute in section M based on MSBA’s model-policy revisions and that staff had no further recommendations. The committee recorded no substantive debate and accepted the change for placement on first reading.
