Committee approves final year extension for judicial center water operator contract

The Administration Committee on Sept. 10 approved a resolution extending the contract for water operator services at the judicial center campus with Schaefer and Roland of Geneva, Illinois. Kevin Harris described the item as a "typical contract extension" and confirmed the third and final extension would be for about $21,800. The agenda entry was TMP-25-1097. Committee members voted to approve the extension by roll call after a motion and second; the extension will allow the vendor to finish work currently underway at the judicial center campus. Staff did not signal further changes to the contract terms at the meeting; the extension was described as a continuation to finish contracted work.
