Lee County staff told the Finance Committee they have started a data-conversion project with Tyler Technologies and have selected a county project manager to coordinate the work.
Amy (Treasury staff) reported the county’s project manager will work with Tyler Technologies’ project manager and county IT to perform a data dump and begin converting financial records. Committee members were told the county’s chosen project manager is Brian Brim, who will help set up a test environment and coordinate meetings with the treasurer’s office and the state’s attorney’s office.
Amy said the project has entered initial steps and that meetings are scheduled later in the month to review data and test the conversion process. No contract terms, timeline to completion or cost details were provided at the committee meeting; staff said more information will follow as the project advances.
