Jackson County committee backs declaring county vehicles surplus for disposal
The Jackson County Justice and Law Enforcement Committee on Sept. 8 recommended adoption of Resolution 21994 to declare certain county-owned vehicles surplus and authorize their disposal under Jackson County Code chapter 11, after committee members confirmed storage and inspection details.

Vanessa Husky, chair of the Jackson County Justice and Law Enforcement Committee, told the committee on Sept. 8 that members should recommend adoption of a resolution declaring certain county-owned vehicles as surplus property and authorizing their disposal under chapter 11 of the Jackson County Code. "I actually had opportunity to see the vehicles, and I am satisfied," Husky said.
