The Richland County Board of Supervisors appointed Rod Perry to fill the remainder of the District 11 supervisor term on Aug. 12. Supervisor Severson moved to approve the appointment; Supervisor Cooley seconded the motion and the board approved it by voice vote. The board recessed briefly to administer the oath of office and seated Perry.
