Harris County adopts 2025 millage rate after third public hearing
After three required public hearings, the Harris County Board of Commissioners adopted a 2025 millage rate of 9.13 mills (5.478 mills in parts of West Point). Officials said the rate is effectively unchanged from recent years; notices and bill timing were announced.

Harris County commissioners on Aug. 19 adopted a 2025 property tax millage rate of 9.13 mills for most of the county and 5.478 mills for areas of West Point following the third of three public hearings required by state law.
