Commerce advances first reading of solid waste fees; residential rate unchanged
At a Sept. 2 special meeting the City Council held a first reading of an ordinance amending Ordinance 2024-10-002 to modify solid waste fees. Assistant City Manager Miss Campbell said the residential rate would not change and staff factored a 2.5% vendor request into proposed charges for other services.

Commerce — The City Council held the first reading Sept. 2 of an ordinance amending Ordinance 2024-10-002 to revise solid waste fees. Assistant City Manager of Financial Services Miss Campbell presented the proposal and the council voted to advance the ordinance to a second reading at the regular September meeting.
