District approves Loma View closure and boundary‑study process for Orchard Springs cone

The Weber School District board on Tuesday authorized a closure study for Loma View Elementary and a boundary study affecting Orchard Springs and North Ogden elementary schools, citing capacity imbalances and the age and capital needs of existing facilities. District staff said teacher assignments would generally follow students, and reductions would come from non‑student‑tied operating costs.
