The board voted 5-0 to adopt legislative intent and to schedule the ordinance for public hearing and advertisement; staff characterized the amendment as an efficiency measure and noted it had received unanimous advisory approval from the BCAC and near-unanimous support at the LPA.
There were no public objections recorded on the item during the hearing. Staff will prepare the final ordinance for a subsequent public hearing and return to the board for formal adoption.
