During the public comment period, Tom Kolasik of Dwight asked the county to post online the presentation given last month by Mr. Pruitt, saying the material contained "a lot of good information" and should be available for public review.
Kolasik told the board the County Executive earlier said the chairman must approve posting the presentation. Board Chair Carly responded, "We'll see what we can do," and said the county would attempt to make the material more available to the public.
Another speaker also told the board that local city council members had watched the prior presentation online and were impressed with the material; that remark was not attributed to a named speaker in the meeting transcript.
The transcript does not show whether the presentation is subject to any restrictions, whether it contains confidential information, or whether the county has an established process for posting prior meeting presentations. The resident's request was made during the public comment portion of the meeting and the board took no formal vote on the request.
