Superintendent reports smooth school start, rising elementary enrollment and HVAC needs; boundaries proposal open for comment

Superintendent Todd McKee told the Cache County School District Board on Aug. 28 that the school year started smoothly across the district and that most students and teachers reported a positive opening week. McKee said administrators had anticipated some challenges and were able to respond quickly to enrollment increases in several elementary schools by allocating additional funds so schools could hire an extra teacher or aide as principals deemed appropriate.
