Area Plan Commission approves several small residential subdivisions and A-2 rezonings

The Decatur County Area Plan Commission approved a batch of petitions to subdivide portions of larger parcels and rezone the new lots from A-1 to A-2 to permit single-family detached dwellings. Petitioners included applicants who asked to subdivide between about 1.5 and 5 acres out of larger parent parcels; the commission reviewed each request under Decatur County ordinance sections 9-15 and 9-20-7.
