Council approves Sleep Inn alcohol license and Fall Fest temporary permit with contingencies
The council granted a Class B fermented malt beverage license to Sleep Inn and Suites contingent on final inspection and approved a temporary beer/wine permit and special-event permit for Fall Fest with conditions including a police officer assignment and fire-department approval of fire pits.

The Verona Common Council on Aug. 25 approved two public-safety related items: a Class B fermented malt beverage license for Sleep Inn and Suites at 131 Horizon Drive and a temporary Class B fermented malt beverage and wine permit and special-event permit for the Verona Area Chamber of Commerce’s Fall Fest on Sept. 26, 2025.
