Superintendent reports school openings, five summer relocations, staffing progress and ongoing projects

The superintendent updated the board on opening schools and completed work: five schools were moved over the summer, Liberty building re-opened after contractor/fire marshal signoffs, staff vacancies were reduced though special-education positions remain difficult to fill, and preliminary statewide scores were presented to the state board.
