During public comment, a resident said he could not obtain basic financial information about the Branson Hills Special Improvement District (SID), criticized a lack of notification to district residents and opposed any extension of the district beyond its scheduled 2027 termination. Board members acknowledged broader concerns with some SIDs and described limitations in staff’s ability to compel private SID boards, but they pledged to increase transparency and change the appointment process.
