Vermillion County Council reduces economic development budget and dissolves EDC
At a Jan. 27 special meeting, the Vermillion County Council approved a $291,586 reduction in the 2025 Economic Development Fund and adopted an ordinance dissolving the county's Economic Development Commission, department and coalition. Commissioners urged tabling and proposed a joint meeting to craft a new structure.
