Senate adopts several ceremonial resolutions, hears bill introductions; recorded votes unanimous on contested measures
At its April 15 session, the Louisiana Senate adopted multiple ceremonial and commemorative resolutions (many by voice/without objection) and recorded unanimous votes on several concurrent resolutions. Senators introduced bills including SB233 (school readiness tax credits) and SB232 (motion picture tax credit office rename).

The Louisiana Senate on April 15 moved, referred and adopted a series of ceremonial resolutions and took procedural action on several bills. Several concurrent resolutions that recognize organizations, designate special commemorative days, or commend individuals were adopted either "without objection" or by recorded roll call. A small set of measures received recorded votes and passed unanimously.
