Steele County issues permit to finalize Fugleberg drainage work; commissioners note culvert replacement needed

Commissioners also discussed rights-of-way and who would bear the cost of filling and restoring ditch areas where field excavation occurred. Water-board representatives said they had directed landowners to fill certain sections; county staff said they will determine right-of-way lines and whether county payment is required before undertaking corrective work.
