The Denison Planning Commission approved a replat of Lot 9R, Block 2 of The Fennel Addition (formerly Lots 9 and 10, Block 2 of the Western Hills Subdivision), commonly known as 1012 Veil Leon, to combine the two parcels into a single lot to permit construction of an accessory structure.
Planning staff said the lot is currently developed in a single-family manner, is zoned SF-7.5, and that accessory structures require a main dwelling on the same lot. Staff said the combined lot meets the dimensional and area requirements of the SF-7.5 zoning district and recommended approval.
Commissioners moved to approve the replat; the motion carried with no conditions noted in the transcript. The replat allows the property owner to proceed with permit applications for the accessory structure.
