CONVERSE, Texas — The Converse Parks and Recreation Commission on April 14 took a series of procedural votes including excusing two member absences, approving minutes from two prior meetings, tabling the pool-update presentation and a rescheduling decision for a movie-in-the-park event, approving final details for a children’s craft day and recommending Brad Kessler for reappointment to the commission.
The commission excused the absence of Leandrea Rodriguez from the March 29 workshop and excused Stephanie Haley’s absence for the same meeting. The panel voted to approve minutes from the March 10 regular meeting and the March 29 workshop. Commission members moved and seconded to table the pool project update until the May meeting because the presenter, Danny Lee, was not present.
