Staff said the city still must complete bidding and return to council to award a construction contract; the TxDOT agreement is a necessary precondition to bidding.
Staff thanked project managers on the team and noted there would be future action items to award the construction contract once bidding is complete. No formal action was taken at the workshop; staff said it would bring the agreement and subsequent contract award back to council for formal approval.
