Kenton (staff) told the commission that staff and the finance team need additional time to review proposed budget amendments and capital items and requested a special-called work session from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Feb. 24.
Commissioner Bush moved to approve the special call; Commissioner Powell seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Staff said the workshop will review amendments to the current fiscal year budget, additions and subtractions to capital line items and allow commissioners to ask detailed questions outside a regular meeting.
Staff requested commissioners provide availability or suggest an alternate time if the proposed slot did not work.
